The warranty will be valid for all units purchased via Yealink (UK) Ltd’s official distributors and ITSP partners and will see any faulty handsets being replaced up to 12 months after their official end-of life date.
It covers all current handset models including the popular T4x series - T41PN, T42GN, T46GN and T48GN - the award-winning CP860 conference phone, W52H and W52P DECT phones, EXP40 expansion module and the recently launched T27PN & T29GN.
The move underlines the company’s confidence in the quality and reliability of products across the portfolio.
“Because we manage the technical support across the UK and Ireland, we know just how reliable Yealink kit is,” commented General Manager, Steve Watts. “The Yealink devices are not only a great design, feature rich and cost effective; they are built to the highest design standards. Nothing will give ITSPs and Resellers more confidence in a SIP device than one carrying a lifetime warranty.
“Our return rate is exceptionally low so the decision to introduce a lifetime warranty was not a difficult one.”
The announcement comes as Yealink (UK) Ltd is enjoying significant growth, with increased sales across its distribution network bolstered by its recently announced four year contract with BT Wholesale. The company's growth, which is currently running at 115 percent year-on-year, is being fuelled by a proposition that combines premium features with affordability and reliability and is enabling Yealink to significantly outpace the market.
Under the warranty claims procedure distributors and ITSP partners will replace units deemed to be faulty. If the model has been discontinued an equivalent or better replacement will be supplied.
The new guarantee does not cover spare parts, and earlier models in the T1x, T2x and T3x ranges, EXP38 and EXP39 expansion modules or YHS32 headsets.
