The new integration will be available as part of the Xelion 8.4 update and will enable WhatsApp Business messaging within the Xelion platform.
Dave Reynolds, managing director, Xelion UK, said, “WhatsApp Business is a great way to connect with customers, but it simply isn’t scalable if it can’t be integrated into the UC ecosystem.
“We’re providing that scalability in the most convenient way possible, enabling customers to send and receive WhatsApp messages through the Xelion interface. This removes the need for training or the use of third-party apps.”
This integration will be licensed per business, not per user, allowing multiple agents within a business to use WhatsApp Business without additional costs.
Some of the key features of the WhatsApp Business integration will include messaging tools, unlimited user access, marketing tools, click to chat, and analytics and reporting.
Reynolds added, “Instead of productising this service, we’re keeping costs down. The point is that it further enhances Xelion as a product, and ultimately helps more partners meet the needs of more customers.
“That’s what Xelion is all about, and we’re delighted to be launching yet another enhancement to our partners and users.”
