Xelion’s platform targets the SME market and is looking to expand integration options for hosted voice providers who aren’t able to invest in application development themselves. New business communications available include chat, email and SMS. The Xelion API allows users to add new features to systems and push certain parts of the comms-estate into non-Xelion applications.
“The marketplace is an important step in our strategy to provide a fully open telephony / UC platform. Xelion makes no restrictions and is certified for all major fixed and mobile networks. The API makes the system even more open and makes it easy for others to integrate applications. That provides enormous flexibility and freedom for the user," said Arthur van den Ende, Commercial Director of Xelion.
Dave Reynolds, Managing Director for UK said “The Integration Market Place is an extremely exciting addition for both Xelion partners and customers, to date the majority of Hosted Voice platform vendors have failed to deliver simple and effective ways of integrating with 3rd party applications. We believe we have created the perfect solution to bridge the gap between software and Xelion.”
