X2 Comms says the Asterisk-based open platform has revolutionised its IP sales - and now the reseller is keen to share the secrets of its success with other resellers. In addition X2 is offering installation and configuration expertise as part of a complete ‘cradle to grave’ service with Nimans.
“In many ways we could be seen to be giving away our secrets to rival resellers but we don’t view it that way,” says X2 Managing Director, Mike Gardner.
“We’ve been going for 11 years, run our own network and can even offer bespoke ‘bonded services’ including 3G and 4G integration. It all ties in with the system as we also offer configuration, infrastructure and installation expertise.”
The first two-day technical training course (run by X2) took place at Nimans’ Manchester headquarters and attracted resellers from far and wide - from Glasgow to Huddersfield and down the Midlands.
“They are not our rivals. Many don’t have the expertise and knowledge so we provide on-going third party support. We already sell managed services to resellers so this is a natural fit for us,” Mike pointed out.
“Until about a year ago we stayed away from IP telephony as we couldn’t find the right system that was the perfect fit for our clients. But the iQ PBX has revolutionised our business and we’ve fallen in love with its many impressive features and functions. It’s sensational.”
“The iQ X600i is a flagship feature rich product with many standout qualities - such as SIP trunk connectivity - without adding any licences,” says iQ Business Manager Judith Addison. “With a trade price of £481.25 it represents tremendous value and with a capacity for up to 100 handsets it’s ideal for hotels, schools, colleges and SME’s for example.”
She added: “Teaming up with X2 makes perfect sense. They have hands-on experience which they can share with other resellers who can join our burgeoning success story.”
The X600i comes with voicemail, voicemail to email, auto attendant, call queue with announcements, three-way video conferencing, music on hold, ad-hoc call recording and Skype integration as part of a plethora of in-built features, Judith concluded. “It’s a complete all-in-one solution.”
The next technical training course takes place on 29th and 30th September.
