Westcon Takes a LEAP

Distributors
Westcon Convergence has announced the official opening of its LEAP Centre at its European Head Office in Crawley

LEAP stands for: Learn, Experience, Architect and Plan, and is dedicated to showcasing the ‘best in breed’ UC, Collaboration and Infrastructure solutions. It brings together Westcon’s vendor portfolio in a unique environment, demonstrating how these technologies create solutions that address the challenges of today’s enterprises. This multi-vendor environment enables both Westcon’s channel partners and their end user customers to learn, demonstrate and experience the latest technology solutions.

The centre overcomes the challenges faced by partners in demonstrating complete integrated solutions and provides a range of services such as: demonstrations, proof of concept, formal and informal training- a complete learning experience for both sales and technical staff.

“The LEAP Centre will accelerate, simplify the sales process, and increase partners’ creditability by eliminating the difficulties of setting up different demonstrations with a multitude of vendors. Providing partners with a unique opportunity to engage with customers and develop stronger relationships in a face-to-face, interactive environment where proof of concepts can be developed rapidly. The centre focuses on a more practical and active experience for both partners and end users, where they get to play with the products and see how they can integrate together and access our team of experts when required. The LEAP Centre is an evolving model where we will work closely with vendors and partners to fulfil their requirements. This unique non-chargeable service from Westcon adds significant value to the channel community,” commented Ioan MacRae, General Manager, UK and Ireland, Westcon Convergence.

Greg Lane, Head of Pre-Sales, Worldstone, “We have already had a training session at the LEAP Centre and it is a fantastic facility providing us with access to all Westcon’s products where we can experience hands on practical training. It is a unique set up and I am sure it will open up many opportunities for Worldstone.”
