In such environments where other devices may falter, for example, in a shaded or partially-blocked landscape, the Yuma 2 maintains its level of accuracy via the integrated antenna. For even more accurate GPS data collection, the device is also available with an antenna connector providing workers with a reliable and accurate surveying tool for dependable performance in reduced signal environments.
Workers outside of the four walls who move from location to location collecting information no longer have to waste time waiting for a system warm-up as the Yuma 2 Enhanced has a cold start of less than 33 seconds and a warm start of less than 3 seconds.
Not only does the Yuma 2 deliver enhanced 1-2 metre GPS accuracy, but it also has an outdoor readable display, featuring a new dual technology display created specifically for easy and outstanding sunlight readability via the full-colour, seven inch Gorilla Glass screen. The capacitive touch screen also means that workers can type with fingers, stylus or capacitive gloves. Like all products within the Trimble range at Varlink, the Yuma 2 is built to be rugged from the inside out with an IP65 rating.
Connectivity via Bluetooth and Wifi using the Microsoft Windows 7 Professional operating system, allows mobile users to work with the same documents and data as they do in the office.
