Ultra Communications in Partnership with The Volunteer Call Centre

Call Services
Cloud technology provider Ultra Communications today announces partnership with charitable organisation, The Volunteer Call Centre Limited.

The Volunteer Call Centre (VCC) has been set up to enable people with travel difficulties, disabilities or lack of skills to get fully trained with the professional skills required to work within the customer service arena. The VCC business objective is to provide free training to disadvantaged individuals and then progress them into full-time employment within 6 months.

The VCC aims to work with many charities by offering them outsourced contact centre services at reduced costs. Operations Manager, Jade Smith comments: “Our model means that we are up to 70% less expensive than traditional UK or off-shore outsource companies, uniquely offering UK based people access to employment opportunities that they may not have traditionally been considered for.”

Ms Smith already utilises Ultra’s advanced suite of Cloud technology solutions for a number of her other businesses and has decided to strengthen the relationship further by committing to a new long-term contract. She adds: “We’ve chosen Ultra’s solutions again because the company actually operates as a technology partner, rather than just another service provider. Their solutions are extremely reliable and cost effective, which is imperative to my businesses.”

“We are delighted that The Volunteer Call Centre has chosen Ultra’s services. We are able to offer the VCC a Cloud solution that enables advisors to work from home should they need, which is the only option for many of the employees. This allows the VCC to employ people who can’t get into the office.” said Robert Bates, Commercial Director at Ultra.
