Gamma and Clear Business announce managed connectivity partnership

Gamma to provide fully managed connectivity and voice services under the Clear Business brand.

Gamma and Clear Business have announced a strengthened strategic partnership.

Under the new agreement, Gamma will provide a fully managed service for connectivity and voice, delivered under the Clear Business brand.

This offering gives small businesses access to enterprise-grade communications with dedicated support and expertise from the Gamma team. For Gamma, this represents a significant growth opportunity through an embedded model that brings its capabilities directly to the SME market via an established, customer-focused provider.

John Murphy, CEO, Gamma Business (pictured), said, “This partnership is rooted in a shared belief: small businesses deserve enterprise-quality service that’s simple to buy, easy to use, and backed by trusted expertise.

“We’re proud to be working with Clear Business to deliver exactly that. Together, we’re helping our channel partners stand out with services that are both powerful and refreshingly easy to manage.”

Jon Perkins, chief product and strategy officer, Clear Business, added, “Simplicity is essential for small business owners. This partnership is about making their lives easier—with better service and more time to focus on running their business. As a one-stop shop for essential services, we’re committed to removing complexity and delivering real value.

“Gamma brings the technical expertise and service heritage that gives us—and our customers – total confidence. With Gamma powering our connectivity and voice services, we’re elevating the service experience and setting ourselves apart in a crowded market.”

The partnership supports Clear Business in navigating the UK’s shift from legacy to digital infrastructure. As the WLR/PSTN switch-off approaches, Clear Business can guide its customers through the transition with the support of Gamma without disruption to service.

This embedded operating model is strategically significant for Gamma, with the Clear Business partnership providing a blueprint for scaling Gamma’s service reach through a trusted partner brand.

Murphy explained the partnership is about “enabling partners to simplify their business model and create more agility in their business so they can start pushing to high growth areas of the market as it begins to mature.”

Gamma began transitions for Clear Business at the beginning of last month. Murphy commented, “At the beginning of May, we started to move over, and we’ve had no disruption in terms of service to customers at all during that transition. It’s taken a good degree of planning between Clear Business and Gamma.

“So far we have moved all of the provisioning services, that’s all now completely serviced out to the Gamma team, and we are in the process of onboarding people into the Gamma team to take on tech support for Clear Business as well.”

When asked if Gamma is ready to scale this approach out to other partners, Murphy said, “We’re ready to scale. We would hope to do two to four deals of this nature over the course of the second half of this year. We’re ready to go.

“This is something different, with clear benefits for partners and their end customers.”
