The former head of Avenir, Tow only joined Excalibur at the beginning of October as Chief Commercial Officer, but in the final three months of 2014, the company posted a record quarter. It also achieved its highest number of new customers and generated record levels of customer satisfaction. IT services alone saw a 30% growth.
“This is no coincidence”, said Excalibur’s CEO, James Phipps.
“A man of Andy’s calibre delivers results and will help take us securely on our carefully planned journey to becoming the biggest and best in combined IT and communications. His general management experience will lead the company not just on its turnover and profit growth, but importantly, on all the required enablers, especially structure and people-development”.
He added: “Andy’s appointment completes what I firmly believe to be the finest board of directors in the industry, who together with the entire Excalibur team will advance us to £25M, delivering outstanding customer service every step of the way”.
Andy Tow joined Excalibur after being Managing Director of Chess Partner Services in London. His near three decades of industry experience includes being the former Head of Indirect Sales at Vodafone, with whom Excalibur is a platinum partner - as well as also being a Microsoft Gold Partner.
Tow’s appointment also coincides with new, soon to be announced contracts for Excalibur in the sports and food & beverage industries.
