The new deal will see PSU install a new Mitel telephony platform and provide an on-going maintenance service for the Group’s headquarters in Gloucester.
Although it will be configured for digital system use, the new Mitel 5000 Communications Platform offers an IP option and the ability to adopt Voice over IP (VoIP) technologies, which could allow additional branch offices to be quickly and cost effectively linked in the future. Such flexibility was pivotal in Travail’s decision to adopt the solution.
