The Bury-headquartered business won the title after it created a multi-site communications solution on behalf of a longstanding international client. This saw Avaya’s IP Office platform being installed at six main UK hubs and a further 20 satellite locations to serve some 1,000 users.
The solution enables calls going into one of the hubs to be swiftly routed to the desired location

Having received the award from Paul Emery, vice president of ScanSource UK Comms at a ceremony hosted at Manchester’s Hilton Deansgate hotel, Pennine’s managing director Andrew Roberts commented: “The client not only needed an effective and efficient communications solution to serve sites right across the UK, but swift implementation due to a recent contract gain. Avaya IP Office delivered the necessary functionality and scalability, whilst Pennine delivered the expertise and service necessary to meet client demands and expectations.”
Avaya itself has also recognised Pennine’s expertise by awarding the company Diamond Partner status. The highest accreditation offered by the global technology giant, it is awarded only to resellers who achieve specified customer satisfaction ratings and who “typically have a track record of delivering complex projects, involving multi-vendor integrations”.
“Diamond Partner status not only demonstrates our proven expertise in the implementation of Avaya solutions, but further sharpens our competitive edge by giving Pennine access to additional resources and incentives,” said Mr Roberts.
