As part of the company's reorganisation, the division has consolidated its mobile services and national operations units into the newly-created ConnectOp Service. The new business unit will handle all non-defence sector work and be led by operations director Sam Young. The combination of the two units will offer greater value to customers.
There are also changes to the senior leadership team. Dave Stonehouse has been promoted to technical director. He will focus on ensuring the business remains at the forefront of innovation and continues to transform in terms of connectivity, data management and analysis.
Indi Sall has also been promoted to business development director and will work with the senior leadership team to grow IT Services' customer base. This follows a strong performance for the business in the 12 months to 3 March 2023, which resulted in a 42% per cent operating profit increase.
Kelly Tedesco, managing director of NG Bailey IT Services, said, "IT Services has been on a significant growth journey since we implemented our three-year growth plan in 2022.
"After two consecutive years of revenue growth and a strong performance by the team, this reorganisation is designed to build on our success and ensure we are even better placed to deliver transformational connectivity solutions to our customers."
The company also recently brought in five new apprentices through its apprenticeship scheme.
Added to that, it has announced several new partnerships, including an industry leading programme to deliver 5G solutions to UK businesses in partnership with Nokia and Infinigate.
