The product was released in November 2023, but Microsoft has now made its available to organisations of all sizes with no seat purchase minimum.
Copilot is now available for Office 365 E3 and E5 customers, with no Microsoft 365 license required.
Microsoft 365 Business Premium and Business Standard Customers will also be able to buy between one and 200 seats for $30 per person, per month.
Commercial customers can buy Copilot for Microsoft 365 through Microsoft’s CSP partners.
This follows the announcement in December 2023 of the eligibility of Copilot for Microsoft 365 for education faculty and staff.
Microsoft has also introduced Copilot Pro, a premium subscription that provides a higher tier of service for AI capabilities, bringing Copilot AI’s capabilities to Microsoft 365 Personal and Family subscribers, as well as new features, such as the ability to create Copilot GPTs.
Additionally, it has announced the general availability of its Copilot app for iOS and Android phones.
