The former Azzurri Communications CFO joins Solar as the business further evolves as a managed services provider, and forges ahead through both organic and acquisition growth.
A chartered accountant, Andrew brings significant experience of the sector, having worked for some of the biggest carriers, equipment manufacturers and managed services companies.
In his most recent role, he led private equity-backed Azzurri in its successful exit to Maintel Plc and, prior to that, was instrumental in leading the company’s business transformation. As CFO he successfully worked with lenders to restructure the business’s financing, as well as reposition the organisation around its growth products, delivering improved cash flow and profitability.
In his role at Solar Communications, Andrew will be aiming to replicate many of his previous successes, driving commercial and operational effectiveness, as well as working with the investment community and the board to deliver M&A opportunities.
