Jabra and its partners achieved strong sales growth across EMEA, via sales of Jabra’s comprehensive portfolio of headsets and UC-optimised communications devices in 2012. This growth was driven by increasing demand for multi-use headsets in the workplace, that enable users to connect headsets to a variety of devices, including smartphones and tablets and allow them to work anywhere with ease.
Jabra’s top UK partners received awards from Jabra’s CEO, Mogens Elsberg, EMEA President, Joel Hamon and Andrew Doyle, UK Managing Director for the Business Solutions Division.
The 2012 UK award winners were:
UK Distributor of the Year – Ingram Micro
Best UK Reseller - Misco
Best UK Emerging Partner – Iisas
At an EMEA level we were also delighted to award Westcon as EMEA Distributor of the Year 2012.
More than 300 partners from across EMEA, together with sponsors Microsoft, Cisco, Avaya, Nuance and Swyx, joined Jabra for the conference. The Amsterdam conference included in-depth strategy updates, live demonstrations, networking opportunities, discussions on how to maximise shared business opportunities for Jabra and its partners in 2013, as well as the prestigious Partner Awards ceremony.
Andrew Doyle commented: “This awards ceremony recognises the fantastic performance our partners delivered in the UK and across EMEA in 2012. Experiencing such a successful year clearly demonstrates why Jabra believes so strongly in the power of partnership.”
“It’s an exciting time for devices as smartphone adoption continues to dominate and tablet sales are expected to double globally. Jabra are uniquely positioned to capitalise on the convergence of the mobile workforce and the increased adoption for UC, with a strong headset portfolio. This is why we continue to invest in all of our partners and why we host the annual EMEA Partner Conference. It is also why we launched the Jabra WIN Partner Programme in 2011. The Jabra WIN programme guarantees customers a world-class experience with Jabra partners and as a result we expect to see continued growth in 2013 with all of our channel partners.”
