The Manchester-based firm recently announced that they have chosen Francis House Children’s Hospice as their chosen charity for 2015, and employees are taking part in many different activities to raise vital funds for this worthy cause.
Francis House Children’s Hospice is an amazing charity which provides comfort, rest and fun for children and young adults with life threatening conditions, and their families.
The team at Invosys have committed to raise money for this wonderful cause in various ways this year, from taking part in the Manchester Marathon to gearing up for the Total Warrior challenge in Leeds.
Le-anne Royle from the Order Desk arranged a knitting session for the less sporty members of the team, and together they made 35 chicks to sell. Invosys then donated 100 Cadbury Crème Eggs to fill the chicks, along with others that had been knitted by supporters of the Hospice.
She said: “It’s a key part of our ethos at Invosys to give something back to the community where we live and work, and so we pledge to support a local charity each year, with staff dedicating their own time to raise funds.
