At the event, held in Gibson Hall, London, Huawei announced a range of new initiatives including a partner incentive programme, product promotions and new sales tools such as the Huawei Partner App and marketing campaigns in a box.
Gordon Luo, Chief Executive, Huawei UK & Ireland said: “Partners are a key element of Huawei’s UK strategy, and have been for the past 15 years that Huawei has operated in the UK and Ireland. Today we have not only been able to celebrate this great relationship but we have announced exciting new plans to continue this relationship.”
The event also featured several customer case studies from various sectors in the UK. This included P&O Ferrymasters and Internet service provider, Britannic Technologies. Hillarys Blinds provided further details on its relationship with Huawei, after moving to Huawei’s SAP HANA appliances with in-memory database software last year.
Luo continued: “We are excited by the initiatives announced today and are sure they will assist our partners in growing their business with Huawei. Western Europe is a key region for the company to expand its global presence, and the UK is one of the most strategic markets for Huawei within it.”
