Genius Networks and G3 Comms Now Under One CEO

MSPs
Genius Networks and G3 Comms will now be under one chief executive officer, James Arnold-Roberts, who is stepping up from managing director of Genius Networks after serving four years at the helm.

Operating as independent business units, G3 and Genius will continue to serve the indirect and direct sales channels respectively, under the direction of separate management teams but a single CEO. Arnold-Roberts explains why.

“It’s all about delivering the best services to our customers. Whilst G3 and Genius follow different routes to market, with their own dedicated services, both share the same driving force – the expansion of businesses into overseas markets and the need for global communications. This strategy is common to both operations and it’s my priority to ensure we can give our multi-national customers the resources and solutions they need, irrespective of whether they are end users or service providers.”

Arnold-Roberts goes on to explain how his channel-neutral role reflects the way in which communications solutions are developing today, “The technical complexity of unified communications on a global scale means no two service providers will ever present the same solution. Invariably, deployment involves integration of numerous applications, systems and multi-carrier networks that demand a highly bespoke approach. So, problem solving and innovation are priorities over price. Scope for so-called channel conflict simply doesn’t exist.”

Arnold-Roberts was introduced to the growing demand for network services in 2000 whilst working for the award winning contact centre specialist, IPIntegration, an Avaya Platinum partner and Microsoft Gold Partner. Shortly after, Arnold-Roberts joined Mitech and rapidly progressed in sales management working with multinational businesses in the development of network infrastructures.

Joining G3 in 2006, as Founder and Director of G3 Network Services, Arnold-Roberts formed Genius Networks in 2012 and has been instrumental in developing the technology and management systems required to widen the focus of the business from the UK market to the growing demand for global voice and data networks from international service providers and developers of communications systems.

Drawing on his experience in global network infrastructure, he has managed the successful development of an MPLS core network, the building of a network aggregation platform (CRISP), the deployment of international data centre hubs and the negotiation of integration agreements with the world’s top network carriers.
