Ideal for both occasional and seasoned bikers, this two-day event will take place over Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th June and will involve orienteering through Cannock Chase’s choice of courses with a lunchtime BBQ, a Gala dinner with auction in the evening, and further orienteering on day two.
The Mountain Bike Challenge offers the chance to spend some time in the open air with fellow channel partners who are bike enthusiasts, as well as a chance to raise money for the Samaritans and Rays of Sunshine charities. There are some great auction prizes on offer, including a mountain bike worth £750, weekend pass for BikePark in Wales and two lots of mountain bike skills days (one in Dorking with Singletrack School and the other with Chasing Trails in Yorkshire).
Over the two days, participants will work together to complete various activities including mountain bike orienteering, mountain bike trail riding and distant riding time trial.
