Gamma prepares to launch IoT solution

New offering made possible by Epsilon acqusition.

Gamma has announced that Fusion IoT will be made generally available in the first quarter of next year.

Fusion IoT is an IoT connectivity solution that has been designed to meet the needs of businesses across various sizes and industries. It provides reliable connectivity via both single and multi-networks, ensuring robust performance regardless of location.

By integrating diverse connectivity options, including direct access to Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), Fusion IoT delivers a unified platform for managing SIMs and devices in real-time, enhancing operational efficiency and supporting informed decision-making.

The solution was added to Gamma’s suite of services following its acquisition of Epsilon in Germany. Beta trials will commence this quarter, ahead of general availability in 2025.

The announcement was made at Gammaverse 2024, the company’s annual partner event which was held at the QEII Centre in Westminster, London, last week.

At the event, Gamma welcomed around 450 attendees for a full day of insight, collaboration, and discussion.

John Murphy, managing director of Gamma Business, made this announcement regarding Fusion IoT, as well as discussing the recent launch of Webex for Gamma and early access for Service Suite for Microsoft Teams, which will help partners maximise the value of Microsoft Teams by adding a set of complementary software and hardware around the platform.

Murphy (pictured above) also highlighted the increased flexibility and choice that Gamma offers through the addition of iPECS Cloud to its UCaaS portfolio, via the acquisition of Pragma, the exclusive distributor of Ericsson-LG’s iPECS Cloud solutions in the UK.

The event also included a panel discussion on UCaaS, moderated by Pragma’s Will Morey alongside Gareth Bleasdale, from Microsoft, DP Venkatesh, from Cisco, Ahed Alkhatib, from Ericsson-LG, and Rich James, also from Gamma.

Andrew Belshaw, CEO of Gamma, updated partners on the company’s focus on supporting its UK channel partners while expanding across Europe. He highlighted Gamma’s regulatory advocacy efforts to represent small businesses and partners in policy discussions.

Belshaw (pictured below) emphasised the importance of delivering new solutions that allow partners to expand into new markets, discussing how acquisitions like Pragma and Coolwave are helping to enable that. He added, “Gamma’s strength lies in our partnerships. We’re committed to providing the best tools and support so our partners can grow their businesses and thrive. Together, we are truly good together.”
