Eccleston (pictured) is also appointed to the company’s executive committee as part of its global leadership team responsible for driving strategic growth across the Exclusive Networks Group.
The promotion comes one year after Eccleston joined Exclusive Networks as managing director of its UK and Ireland business. He assumed interim responsibility for EMEA at the beginning of 2023.
During the first half of 2023, he oversaw strong performance and sustained growth across the region with year-on-year sales up 19 per cent and profitability up by 27 per cent. As of the end of June EMEA accounted for 78 per cent of the company’s global sales. Eccleston will continue to head up the UK and Ireland business as part of his new SVP EMEA role.
Jesper Trolle, CEO, Exclusive Networks, said, “Paul has made a significant contribution to the business since he joined last year and I am delighted he has now taken up the role of SVP EMEA.
“He’s a highly accomplished and entrepreneurial business leader with a proven track record in growing and scaling channel organisations, especially in the areas of cybersecurity, enterprise software, SaaS and cloud technologies. I’m really looking forward to working with Paul in his new role as we continue to evolve, transform and further scale our business across EMEA.”
Paul Eccleston, SVP EMEA, Exclusive Networks, added, “I’m excited by the opportunities that lie ahead as we continue our growth journey. Cybersecurity continues to be both highly resilient as a sector and hugely relevant to the market as organisations face rising cyber threats, tougher legislation and increased technical complexity.
“Our mission is to be the best partner we can be, whether upstream to vendors or downstream to channels, we are committed to delivering service excellence, creating value and achieving sustained growth.”
Through his career Eccleston has held executive leadership roles at Computacenter, SCC and TechData. He founded Nuvias in 2015, scaling it to a multi hundred million dollar business across EMEA.
He also served as VP of international channels and alliances at cloud security company Zscaler. In his new role Eccleston will be responsible for delivering on Exclusive’s strategic vision, driving services excellence and delivering sustainable growth.
