The acquisition provides MacSeven customers with direct access to the Group’s full portfolio of products and services.
MacSeven’s main service offering is Apple Mac computer support, whilst other offerings include PC support as well as Mac and PC hardware and projects. MacSeven’s effective team of 7 is led by directors Michael Humphreys and Naveen Nahar, where operational activities will remain autonomous and they will continue to be the point of contact for their existing customer support.
The acquisition, following last year’s purchase of City Audio Visual Services, further bolsters Excell’s strategy of horizontal and vertical integration. This latest acquisition is particularly relevant for the 6,000+ customers in Excell-enabled business centres, many of whom use the Apple Mac OS and devices.
Commenting on the deal, Finance Director Edward Pettit (pictured), who heads the Groups acquisition strategy said: ‘There are multiple benefits here; Excell’s customers can access expert Mac services and support, and MacSeven’s customers can now take advantage of a wide range of telephony, network, comms and business resilience services. It’s further diversified our product suite.’
Naveen Nahar, co-director of MacSeven, commented: ‘Becoming part of Excell Group marks the beginning of an exciting time for both teams. With a 25-year pedigree and consistent growth, Excell will allow us to continue refining our expertise and resource, whilst significantly growing our offering. We’re all excited about what the future has in store.’
Excell Group, is this year celebrating 25 years in business and following multiple successful acquisitions, is intensifying its activity. Excell has an acquisition fund of millions and is actively searching for more targets to acquire.
