Godfrey (pictured above) has led multiple transactions for the company, achieving the target outcome for Evolution Capital’s clients. He has also redesigned the company’s “buy side” service strategy and is positioned to launch a new suite of services in the coming financial year.
The new strategy, developed by Godfrey, will provide a greater relevance and higher levels of analysis, presentation and advice for management teams of mid-market IT consolidators and investment houses.
In his new role, Godfrey will have responsibility for budgetary planning and resourcing, as well as for “buy side” service development and delivery. In this capacity, he will report directly to the board.

Godfrey is a chartered accountant and graduated from the University of Leeds with a BSc in mathematics and management. He has advised owner-managed businesses and management teams of both privately owned, private equity backed and public companies with merger and acquisition transactions and funding on deals ranging in value from £50 million to over £1 billion.
Prior to joining Evolution Capital, Godfrey spent eight years within PwC’s transaction services team. In that role, he conducted financial due diligence investigations and advised clients in the technology sector. He has advised on numerous technology transactions including Wefox, Toluna and Harris Interactive.
