Danbro Singles Out Abbey

Danbro, the owners of Jubilee House in Lytham, has singled out Abbey Telecom for helping increase its capability to provide up to 300 telephone extensions across the serviced office space it is aiming to let in the newly refurbished building.

Since the implementation of telecoms infrastructure to cater for its own staff of 200, Danbro has retained the services of the business telecommunications provider for ongoing maintenance and telecoms provision. In 2015, it has prepared over 66,000 square feet of serviced office space for prospective business tenants.

Katie Allen, Group Operations Director from Danbro said: “Our provision of a fully serviced business offer in Jubilee House has required the involvement of a wide range of suppliers and contractors across many disciplines. That brings many challenges and an emphasis on teamwork.

“Abbey Telecom’s work with us has been ongoing since our move and has in many ways stood out. In the context of so much building development and office installation work, their engineers have excelled. The company has been one of the most co-operative in making our transitional arrangements as seamless and smooth as possible.”

The company was originally appointed to install the latest VOIP telephone technology in a deal which included state-of-the-art Samsung handsets and exchange facilities. It is also taking advantage of PC based operator consoles, SIP trunks for external calls and IP extensions with ISDN back up to ensure continual connectivity.

Abbey Telecom managing director Tony Raynor adds “This was one of our more complex orders in that it required us to build an entirely new system from the ground up as an integral part of the wider refurbishment. That involved a good deal of co-operation with different contractors.

“It’s an exciting project in which to still be closely involved and it’s really encouraging to get positive feedback not just about installation but also about our response to any ongoing maintenance issues which need a quick fix.”
