Compatibility was established following rigorous testing under the Yealink ITSP Partner Programme.
The partnership is designed to marry Daisy’s managed network with Yealink’s handsets, which enable swift switching between applications and offer built-in gigabit connectivity. Daisy will be able to extend its SIP handset portfolio and offer its customers a range of Yealink handsets to use on its hosted platform.
Commenting on the announcement, Daisy’s Director of Architecture and Strategy, Tim Meredith, said: “The partner programme represents a fantastic opportunity for us to strengthen our already close relationship with Yealink, as well as further enhance our industry-leading hosted telephony and UC services. Having early access to the industry’s most innovative handsets will enable us to bring the latest, value-adding technology to our customers faster than ever.”
Welcoming the announcement Yealink’s ITSP Business Development Manager Peter Holland commented: “Thorough interoperability testing has confirmed that harnessing Daisy’s hosted telephony services with our flagship handsets creates a thoroughly compelling, cutting-edge proposition for end-users.”
