For the first time, these vulnerabilities are prioritized based on observed threat activity in the customer environment. Consistent with CrowdStrike’s vision of a single agent for endpoint security, Falcon Spotlight adds vulnerability management capability without requiring an additional agent on the endpoint and affords customers the opportunity to consolidate security tools and reclaim precious system resources on their endpoints.
Customers today are burdened by vulnerability management tools characterized by slow scans, blind spots, inaccurate reporting and an inability to provide security professionals with enough prioritized information to take corrective action in a timely and precise manner. As the industry’s first endpoint protection platform to integrate a scan-less, agent-based, real-time vulnerability management solution, Falcon Spotlight brings vulnerability management data into the endpoint protection process. The integration of this data into a single console streamlines workflows for security operations centers (SOCs) and makes it easier to respond to critical threats.
