Avenir Telecom is a retailer and distributors of mobile phones, subscriptions and accessories. The UK airtime business acquired by Chess adds £22m turnover, £1.6m EBITDA and 55 employees who will continue to work from their office in Hertfordshire, it strengthens the mobile and partner services division of Chess. Chess CEO, David Pollock commented

The Avenir Telecom Group maintains its presence in the United-Kingdom via its wholly own subsidiary Avenir Telecom UK. It will continue the sale of multimedia and mobile accessories under the Energizer brand, connected devices under the Beewi brand and smartphones under the YEZZ brand in the United-Kingdom.
This operation is part of Avenir Telecom Group’s strategy of repositioning in the promising accessory, connected device and alternative smartphone markets.
