Ahead of the Home Nations’ upcoming games of the Euro 2020 competition, BT Wholesale is launching a search for three local teams, at any level of the game, to receive football kit and equipment worth up to £2,000. BT Wholesale sees this as an opportunity to spread hope across the football community, while promoting Hope United’s vision of a hate-free future.
Nominations are open to the public until the 31st of July and can be entered online here.
Hope United, based on the mantra that ‘hope beats hate’, is a dream team made up of footballers from men’s, women’s, and para-football teams from across the home nations. The team, brought together by BT, has one mission: tackle online hate and provide young people with the digital skills they need to kick it out of the game and their lives for good.
Each nomination will be marked on its merits and the top three nominations will receive one of the following prizes:
- 1st place – £2,000
- 2nd place – £1,000
- 3rd place – £500
Winners will be contacted after the competition closes, with an announcement from BT Wholesale to follow.
