Network Services 2 is a procurement platform to facilitate sales between the public sector and IT suppliers. Public Sector buyers can be assured they are dealing with trusted and accredited IT suppliers using the framework, therefore reducing the risk and saving them time in the upfront procurement process. The framework is divided into 13 lots.
Lot 13, Contact Centre Services, enables public sector customers to benefit from contact centre technology, and a host of accompanying applications and services which provide flexibility for the future. This includes capabilities such as conversational AI, orchestration, gamification, business process automation and unifying communications with the back office. As well as presenting data from different systems on a single, context-related screen. Blending communications from email, social, SMS and every other channel into one inbox is another highly valuable application that helps manage in and outbound communications.
Jonathan Sharp, Director, Britannic Technologies states, “We are delighted to be part of the Network Services 2 framework for our contact centre solutions. The framework has encouraged engagement with SME technology suppliers in the public sector and we are grateful for this opportunity.
We have vast experience in the Public Sector supplying organisations with innovative contact centre solutions. At present we are seeing an increase in the demand for artificial intelligence and robotic process automation solutions in the contact centre as they vastly reduce the cost to serve and improve business processes, and the customer experience.
So far the framework has achieved approximately £5billion sales over the last four years, and we are excited to have access to such a pipeline of potential prospects.”
Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2018/19, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits worth £945m - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
