Billing People, a free to join membership body for the channel’s billing professionals, has announced plans to host an inaugural Billing People Summit and Awards. The Billing People Summit and Awards will celebrate the channel’s billing experts whose efforts can go unnoticed, as well as providing an opportunity for those individuals to network and learn from each other.
The summit will include keynote presentations from channel businesses, regulatory content, fireside chats and peer-to-peer networking opportunities. The awards will include five categories including Reseller Billing Team of the Year and Wholesale Billing Team of the Year.
The event is scheduled for 16 September 2021 at the ME London Hotel (pictured above). It is free to attend for all members, and membership is open to anyone who works in channel billing.
Billing People was founded by Union Street Technologies, a provider of billing software and associated services. The company continues to lend its support to the organisation as the event’s platinum sponsor. Vincent Disneur, Union Street’s managing director (pictured below), commented, “Far too often the billing experts are overlooked in the channel and aren’t recognised for their incredible hard work and dedication. The Billing Summit and Awards seeks to rectify this and to build a strong community of like-minded people along the way.
