“We’ve wasted no time in taking our go-to market strategy to the next level and will continue to invest in growth because we see such a massive opportunity for Big Technology and our partners,” says Jason Dance, Managing Director of Big Technology. “Among those resellers attracted to our disruptive vendor technologies, we aim to integrate a select number that truly understand not only the benefits, but how to take advantage of the opportunities that lie ahead. Our mission is to enable those partners to address the huge market potential for intelligent, massively scalable big data infrastructure solutions and work with us to answer the enterprise need for next generation datacentres.”
Big Technology has brought on a team to bolster its marketing, sales and pre-sales functions including Paul Brunyee as Solutions Architect Manager who was previously at Nimbus Data Systems; and Gerard Brophy as Sales Manager. It is also actively recruiting new vendor partners – see recent announcement on Pluribus – that complement its vision of software defined, user driven datacentres.
Mike Hemes, VP Sales EMEA at Silver Peak, subscribes to the Big Technology strategy, “We’ve seen the benefit of the skills and relationships within Big Technology, with a number of great opportunities coming in on the back of our partnership. They fundamentally understands the seismic shifts happening in datacentre evolution, particularly around storage and virtualisation, which is proving highly beneficial to us as we look to achieve more in 2014.”
“2014 is a crucial point for resellers to get in early amongst the big technology opportunities, and maximise high margin disruptive technology solutions along with our technical and marketing support,” continued Dance. “It’s also a year for replicating our UK model elsewhere in Europe, with Big Technology now launched in France and other countries likely to come on stream soon.”
