G-Cloud enables public sector organisations to purchase cloud based services, such as hosting, software, and support, including off-the-shelf and pay-as-you-go cloud solutions.
Crown Commercial Service (CCS) supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2021/22, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.8 billion.
Dean Al-Sened, head of public sector and enterprise, Abzorb, said, “We are delighted to be named as a supplier on the G Cloud 13 framework, which helps organisations to simplify procurement and cloud communications solutions and reap the benefits of cloud hosting solutions.
“We know from experience that public sector organisations are challenged by doing more with less and every pound needs to be well spent with the need to increase efficiencies and productivity. Many shy away from cloud solutions fearful they will have to rip and replace existing legacy systems.
“However, we can work with them to migrate to the cloud at their own pace, while reaping the benefits of a cloud solution such as access to the latest technologies, a managed service to free up resource to focus on other priorities, increased business continuity and cost-savings. We look forward to the many opportunities the framework delivers.”
