Q How long have you worked for Fone Logistics?
Two years.
Q What was your first paid employment?
A paper round that I made my dad do with me.
Q What made you move into the mobile phone industry?
The money was good working in a call centre while I was at college to fund my drinking sessions.
Q What is the best aspect about your job?
Meeting new people. And no two days are ever the same.
Q What is the worst aspect?
The number of phone calls I have to return everyday.
Q What is the best sales incentive you have ever won?
Money is always the best incentive!
Q If you could suggest an incentive what would it be?
Other than money, extra holidays are a great incentive – it gets so busy in this job that sometimes you need a timeout.
Q What do you like most about the mobile industry?
The fast pace.
Q What do you like least?
Sometimes it’s just too fast paced.
Q If you could change anything about the industry what would it be?
I wouldn’t change a thing!
Q If you could design a mobile handset what functions would it have?
A handset with a button that gives you an all-over body workout to save slogging it out at the gym every day ...
Q If you could capture any image and send as a picture message what would it be, who would you send it to, and why?
At last year’s dealer conference at Alton towers I was dragged on to the fastest roller coaster and made to ride it despite being terrified. I would have taken a picture to prove that I went on and to show how shocking I looked afterwards. And I would send it to my other half as he didn’t believe me.
Q If you were a mobile phone what would you be and why?
An LG Chocolate, slim and sexy … lol!
Q What handset do you currently use?
Nokia 6230i and Motorola V3i.
Q If you were a ringtone, what would you be and why?
Girls just wanna have fun – that is so me!
Q What type of music do you listen to when travelling around in the car?
Radio 1 – Chris Moyles is a legend.
Q What ringtone do you currently use?
I C U Baby.
Q Who inspires you and why?
One of my best friends, Nikki. Despite having a hard time all her life through her deafness, which is seen by most people as a disability, she has managed to do everything she ever wanted and always has a smile for everyone.
Q What is your favourite game on your mobile phone?
I don’t have time to play the games (I know, sad isn’t it).
Q What would your dream occupation be?
Gossip columnist. I love gossip!
Q What do you think about being awarded DM of the month?
I think it says a lot about my dealers and the relationship I have with them.
