Samsung is due to give the i320 to distributors sometime this month. It’s a genuine smartphone for business, and looks like a very neat design – there’s a full QWERTY keyboard, yet the thing measures only 111x59mm.
It’s also impressively slim (12mm) and light (95g). It runs on Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone and so supports Microsoft’s push email as well as ISP-based POP3 mail. The i320 also features an imbedded instant messaging program.
There’s 120MB of memory on board, with a microSD memory slot for additional expansion. The broadest possible market is implied by a decent 1.3mp camera and music player with dual speakers, but this looks like a serious contender for the business phone market.
