LG Electronics is promising new versions of its successful Chocolate handset in Q3 and Q4 of 2006. The upcoming offerings include white and pink versions and what LG is calling “new 'premium' Chocolate phones with unique design variations and enhanced technical specifications”.
According to Simon Hahm,President of Europe Business Division of Mobile Communications Company of LG Electronics: “Our retail partners around the world have completely bought into the phone's ethos and appeal as a designer,desirable product”.
The Chocolate phone sold more than one million units globally in the eight weeks following its launch in early May.In the UK,demand has lead to a temporary supply shortage.
