AV Technology has adopted of a novel mobile phone-based protection and communication system for its field engineers. Provided by MobileSOS, the service is initiated via designated speed dial keys - a single keypress sends a voice, text and email message together with the caller’s location to five preprogrammed contacts. One key is for a panic call, another sends ‘I’m ok’. on the mobile phone. MobileSOS operates across all mobile networks and on all GSM phones.
