In television adverts running since the weekend Apple have finally announced the launch date for the long awaited iPhone, and it's not that far away so start saving now.
It's the date we've all been waiting for (other than the one with Kylie Minogue but I don't think that's happening anytime soon, she didn't seem impressed with my "Do you like chicken?" chat-up line), the iPhone US launch date.
Just three weeks from now on June 29th the iPhone will hit US stores.
Priced at $499 and $599 for the 4gb and 8gb models respectively, Apple are hoping that on the last Friday of this month the iPhone is going to fly off the shelves.
No word yet on a European launch date or a confirmation on price, but we can expect the Euro iPhone to be with us by the end of the year at around £300.
