The needs and concerns of dealers and distributors are going unanswered by the Networks says the IMPDA who have commissioned a report voicing concerns and suggestions to ensure a balanced and profitable future.
"Mobile Dealers and Distributors are an integral part of the UK mobility landscape. Without them customer’s would lose much valued front-line service, and the ability to gather unbiased information to help determine which network is best for their needs. " the report starts.
However with many of the networks switching to more direct channels the independent dealers are worried that the UK networks are moving toward the US industry's model where distribution channels have agreed to sell one wireless provider's service, in exchange for higher compensation and more help with promotions from the carrier.
