Mobile messaging provider aql is inviting users of Nokia’s E60, E61 or E70 to sample free peer-to-peer WiFi calling over its mobile VoIP network.
To connect to aql, Nokia E-series users text ‘Nokia’ to 64446 and their phone will be configured automatically.

The outbound caller ID across WiFi is the same as the subscriber’s existing GSM number, which is clever, and whenever possible, calls are routed over WiFi to reduce the call charges. Those who wish to extend the service in order to call GSM mobiles and landlines across WiFi can purchase conventional call credit online or by texting ‘Topup’ to 64446. Calls to GSM across WiFi cost from 8p a minute and to landlines from 1p a minute.
