Carphone Warehouse research suggests that an alarming 70% of people have not changed their behaviour at the wheel following the recent law change regarding driving whilst holding a mobile phone. It can’t be ignorance – 92% of respondents were aware that the law has changed It doesn’t help that less than 1% of those questioned admitted to being stopped by the police for holding a mobile phone whist driving, and despite the change in law which promised tougher penalties none at all had been fined or received three penalty points on their license.
