White-label mobile music specialist SDC has announced a partnership today with Amobee Media Systems to enable new advertising revenues for operators and record labels.
SDC has integrated Amobee’s HAPI (Handset Application Programming Interface), a small SDK file that enables the DRM music players to receive ads from Amobee’s purpose built mobile ad-server. So SDC’s music players – available for Java, Symbian and Brew phones – can now serve contextual and targeted opt-in advertising without affecting the music.
Live commercial trials of the Amobee Media System are already under way with multiple tier 1 operators in multiple territories. SDC already has 20 operators using its mobile music services, reaching over 200m mobile users worldwide.
