Text messaging in the UK reached another all time high in May. According to the Mobile Data Association, the 3.3bn person-to-person texts sent across the UK GSM network operators during May was an increase of 26% on the same period in 2005.
An average of 106m messages was sent each day in May, peaking on the FA Cup and Champions’ League final days.
