Zen’s Recommended Broadband Provider status revealed five stars for reliability, customer service, ease of set-up and technical support. Zen has been rated highly by its customers in the Which? Survey for the last eight years, making this its fourteenth Which? endorsement.
‘Zen Internet has consistently topped our customer satisfaction tables and our latest survey is no exception. You gave Zen Internet top ratings for customer service, ease of set-up and connection reliability. There’s a big spread between the best and worst customer scores, with Zen Internet scoring 84% and AOL Broadband limping in last with 28%. Verdict: Pricey, but with a superb customer satisfaction record. Short contracts are a bonus,’ said Which?
Nearly 7,000 Which? Members responded to its latest survey, rating their provider for overall satisfaction and the likelihood that they’d recommend it to a friend, as well as for customer service and value for money.
One Which? Member admitted that the service is ‘more expensive than most’, but said ‘the reliability and service compared to my previous provider makes it worth every penny’. Zen also scored highly in the Which? Survey on its ability to answer queries over the phone, one respondent said, ‘The support service could not be friendlier or more concerned.’
‘We are absolutely delighted to be recognised as Recommended Broadband Provider by Which? once again, this fantastic achievement is our fourteenth Which? endorsement . Our continued success results from the commitment of the entire team at Zen, especially our Technical Support and Customer Services teams, who all support our mission to provide the best ISP service in the UK, said Andrew Saunders, Head of Product Management and Marketing.
‘We believe that we have the strongest portfolio of fibre optic broadband products in the UK and this faster technology represents the future of Internet access. Having worked with BT since the initial fibre optic broadband trials it is important to us that we continue to develop these services. We have a hands-on experience of the technology that other providers cannot match, and the latest, most up-to-date information on progress and future plans,” added Saunders.
The significantly faster speeds provided by fibre optic broadband revolutionises the Internet experience for both residential and business users alike, but Zen recognises that making the most of it will have an impact on data consumption. That’s why Zen also recently doubled its usage allowances across its Fibre Optic Broadband services. Despite the doubling of its usage allowances, Zen is sticking firmly with the policy of no Fair Usage Policy (FUP) and no traffic shaping.
Zen has recently doubled the maximum speeds of its existing Fibre Optic Broadband services and is now offering download speeds of "up to 76Mbps" and upload speeds of “up to 19Mbps”. Zen has also reduced the price of its Fibre Active products to £29.50 +VAT, which is cheaper than BT’s equivalent business broadband product. . All Zen’s fibre products are available on a 12 month contract – the shortest fibre broadband contract available in the market.
