‘I am really pleased to be joining the team at Zen. As Head of Channel Sales I’m looking forward to using my experience to continue to build on the success that has already been achieved through Zen’s Partners. I will be focussing on developing a compelling value proposition that will underpin and demonstrate Zen’s commitment to the Channel, helping Zen’s Partners achieve their revenue goals in 2012 and beyond,’ said Michael.
Zen has developed an advanced Next Generation Network (NGN) that can prioritise delay sensitive and mission critical applications. This is fundamental for Zen’s partners that see their future in Unified Communications and the delivery of a complete voice and data network convergence proposition.
Zen’s NGN services includes Zen’s Fibre Optic Broadband, which now offers download speeds of "up to 76Mbps" and upload speeds of “up to 19Mbps” and EFM services with symmetric bandwidth, recently increased to a maximum of 35Mbps plus traditional 10M, 100M and 1G Ethernet services. These services are the key enabling technology for a whole range of business internet services such as e-commerce, Cloud Computing, video-conferencing, internet telephony and remote working.
Zen’s NGN supports Zen’s Business Voice Portfolio which has now been developed to include its telephone line services, Home Talk and Business Talk, offering a one-stop-shop solution of broadband, telephone line and calls - all on a monthly contract and perfect partner to Zen’s Fibre Optic Broadband. Zen’s ISDN services can also co- exist with Zen’s Business Talk SIP lines, giving customers a path onwards to Zen’s Business Talk SIP into the future.
Zen’s Business Talk SIP is designed for businesses wanting to reduce costs and improve business communications and is an ideal as a value added service delivering a combined voice, data and internet solution for business customers.
Zen’s Partner Programme has been established with the aim of offering Partners the opportunity to sell a wide range of Internet-based products and services that complement Partners’ existing portfolios. Zen is focused on working with Partners who share a desire to provide an excellent end-to-end customer experience, and understand the value of offering reliable, good quality products and services.
Zen’s Wholesale Channel Programme is for Partners who are committed to selling Zen’s larger and more complex services, such as Leased Lines, IP VPN and Managed Hosting. These Partners will also be responsible for managing their customer relationships including support and billing provision.
The Wholesale Channel Programme was developed after consultation with Partners and is an extension to Zen’s existing Partner Programme. As a member of Zen’s Partner Programme, Partners have direct access to Zen’s entire range of products and services. The Programme has been designed to support Partners and provide everything they need, from dedicated account management, to bespoke training and technical support, to successfully integrating Zen's award winning products with their own product portfolio.
Zen is investing over £1M in the development and rebuild of its Partner Portal. The project which is one of Zen’s current top business priorities focuses on the provision of a tailored suite of self service and management tools. The new Portal will improve communication and efficiency when dealing with Zen and give Partners greater control and flexibility when selling Zen’s services and supporting their customers.
