The partnership will see the company’s Westcon Next Generation Solutions (NGS) initiative add the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange to its roster of cybersecurity solutions. Westcon NGS provides the channel with secure digital transformation solutions, described by Westcon-Comstor as helping partners to unlock revenue in a cloud-first world.
Zscaler, which was recognised as a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Secure Web Gateways, provides cybersecurity offerings built especially for the distributed cloud world to enterprise and corporate customers. Its proxy-based architecture, built on an SASE framework, reduces the attack surface by directly connecting users to applications via a zero trust approach.
“Westcon-Comstor’s wide regional reach, along with its marketing and sales support makes it the ideal partner for Zscaler as we target growth across the region,” said Arun Dharmalingam, VP EMEA and APJ Alliances at Zscaler.
Daniel Hurel, Westcon VP EMEA for cyber security and next generation solutions (pictured) said that Zscaler is a ‘crucial addition’ to its portfolio and will play a key role in helping partners to significantly reduce the attack surface of their customers.
