Full fibre broadband is now available to 80 per cent of premises in Stoke-on-Trent following a roll out by VX UK. The 113km full-fibre FTTP network, which is part of the Silicon Stoke project, is available to 103,784 residential and commercial properties across the city.
VX UK was awarded the FTTP contract, with LilaConnect as its ISP.Jan Lange, managing director at LilaConnect, said, “To reach 80 per cent of premises being able to connect to our full-fibre network in Stoke-on-Trent is a milestone to be celebrated and is a testament to the dedication and collaborative teams in Stoke-on-Trent.
