Vorboss has created two new commercial roles, appointing industry experts with 30 years’ experience at internet providers.
Jason O'Malley joins as chief of commercial operations, having previously been at Zayo and BT. Malcolm Puddefoot joins as chief revenue officer, coming from Colt Technology.
O’Malley will oversee the company's commercial and marketing operations. Puddefoot will drive revenue performance and sales initiatives across direct, indirect and strategic partner sales channels.
Tim Creswick, CEO of Vorboss, said, “We’re bringing in high quality industry leaders who will be instrumental in making our fibre network available to new partners and customers. Jason and Malcolm bring hugely valuable experience, but they both also know that things in our industry can be done differently, and better. They’re here at Vorboss to deliver a new way of connecting London’s business community.”
Vorboss recently opened new headquarters in the City of London, and created 60 new London-based account management roles to meet growth in demand. The expanded team specialises in supporting customers in key industries, including media, broadcast, finance, healthcare, hospitality, hotels and fitness.
Vorboss owns and runs its own network, offering speeds of 10Gbps and 100Gbps directly to customers, with a 25Gbps plan available via channel partners. More than 250 technicians and engineers have trained in-house at the company’s academy, and more than a third of Vorboss’ field technicians are women.
