Virgin Media O2 has made a significant upgrade to its mobile network in Wolverhampton, after completing work to improve signal and services in 850 postcodes since the beginning of the year.
The operator’s substantial investment to upgrade connectivity in Wolverhampton is already providing residents and businesses with access to fast and reliable mobile services.
The enhanced 4G and 5G network capacity means that customers in Wolverhampton can now receive improved mobile connectivity, making it easier to access essential online services work remotely, stream content on the go, or stay connected with friends and family.
These upgrades are part of Virgin Media O2’s broader network upgrade strategy. The operator is investing £2 million every day into its mobile network to meet the increasing demands of customers for seamless connectivity.
This comes against a backdrop of rising demand, with the amount of mobile data consumed by O2 customers increasing 26 per cent in 2023.
