Hosting and cloud specialist UKFast has teamed up with VMware to launch the latest addition to its award-winning MyCloudStack range.
MyCloudStack Virtual offers an entry-level cloud solution for SMEs to harness the power of cloud technology. By re-engineering the technology, UKFast has enabled the sharing of the more expensive aspects – including nodes and SANs. This levels the playing field for SMEs, offering them access to the level of technology normally reserved for big businesses with big budgets.
Underpinned by VMware technology, UKFast’s development of this innovative solution led to the company’s recent accreditation as vCloud Powered Partners, a status that only a few UK businesses can boast.
While sharing key technologies, MyCloudStack Virtual incorporates dedicated virtual firewalls within highly-secure virtual data centres to provide a fully-secured cloud environment that is completely isolated from other users.
