Go live comes six months after two companies announced wholesale agreement.

The Trooli FTTP network is now available through Zen Internet.

This comes six months after the two companies announced Zen had become the first national provider to sign a wholesale agreement with independent broadband network operator Trooli.

At the time, the companies said the strategic partnership would allow Zen to provide internet services to approximately 370,000 homes and businesses across Trooli’s full fibre broadband infrastructure.

Trooli’s network reaches underserved rural and semi-rural regions of England in areas that include the South West, South East and East Anglia and three counties in Scotland.

Richard Tang, CEO, Zen Internet (pictured above, right), commented, “The Trooli network is now available to buy through Zen Internet! The Trooli and Zen teams have been very busy over the last few months integrating networks and APIs, testing processes, and making sure the onboarding of our new altnet partner is fully robust.”

Tang said that Zen is now able to sell full fibre broadband on the Trooli network through its consumer sales team. The network will also be available for online orders from the end of February.

Zen will also make the Trooli network available to channel partners through its ICP [Indirect Channel Portal & API]. A date for that is not yet confirmed.

When the partnership with initially announced in August, Andy Conibere, CEO, Trooli (pictured above, left), said, “We are delighted to be partnering with Zen. Our network is ready for service, so this new partnership allows Zen Internet to expand its customer reach and quickly connect its customers to a high performing network.

“Unlike many altnets we are continuing to build our network to areas of the UK that will benefit from it the most and are dedicated to the innovation required to provide access to the fastest and most reliable full fibre broadband.”
